Closing and reopening story
Several months ago we closed InumiToys for personal reasons, and a resulting severe lack of time on our hands. Inumi was put on a back burner, only selling what’s been left in stock. During this time we’ve received lots of warm e-mails and a very good reception of the closing sale. We’d like to sincerely thank you all for the heartfelt response! Seeing that there really are people that miss us, and getting some time off, gave us new energy to reshape and continue Inumi.
We found two possibilities to continue, and we’ll go with both of them at once- obviously, everything is best when doubled ;).
First possibility are partners we found here, in Switzerland, that are willing to take over the handmade production and are currently training casting. It’s not yet possible to say how much time do we need for that (a month or two?). This means all our toys will be available again reasonably soon.
Second possibility is outsourcing production to a professional sex toy factory in China. Difficult part is that it requires quite some financing to start mass production (each model, plug size is a “different” toy, also each color requires to order a separate batch). This is why we started with the most popular model/plug/color combination (Penis Chan with medium plug, light skin color).

We’re happy to say that initial prototyping has been completed, we already have product samples in hand, we’re happy with the quality, and we’ll happily sell them under our brand. They are, as the handmade ones, made out of platinum cure silicone.
The factory and handmade versions will be clearly marked, and of course they will be some look, feel, experience differences between them. In a few days we’ll compare the factory and handmade Penis Chans in detail, but in short: the factory toys are made of harder silicone, have remote controlled built-in vibrators, have a metal bracket for the back belt, and will be cheaper than their handmade counterparts.
Around mid September the mass production should complete and we will open a pre-sale while we wait for the sea shipment to arrive.
